A Reflection on “Hybrid”
Reflecting on the moments of the Hybrid installation at Chiasso Perduto always brings me back to some of the best moments I’ve experienced with AmZ so far.
The moments when art and fashion without fashion came to life…
Reflecting on the moments of the Hybrid installation at Chiasso Perduto always brings me back to some of the best moments I’ve experienced with AmZ so far. I have an overwhelming sense of gratitude for Michelle Concepcion and Sandra Miranda Pattin for their collaborations with this project. The exercise of coming together and each contributing a piece of the conversation was something truly freeing.
We spent over a year of planning for our three-day long installation with a launch party to kick it off. Being in three different countries in a post-Covid world also made things tricky but we managed thanks to Zoom calls and Whatsapp group texts to pull it all together (almost) seamlessly.
Entering inside the exhibition space of Chiasso Perduto is already a spiritual experience, but when you mix that with your own art and creations it becomes something all encompassing. We are super excited to be returning to Chiasso for a series of events that will create an immersive shopping experience (complete with aperitivo obviously) each for one night only. Guests will enter into the space to break the traditional mold of how we buy our clothes.
